Bunny Western Sketches

I've been reading a lot of Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai, which is a pretty awesome comic with anthropomorphic characters set in the Edo period of Japan. It's pretty much a huge tribute to Japanese myth, samurai films and manga in general.

Since samurai films were the inspiration of many western cowboy films, I thought it would be funny if I drew some cowboy characters based off of Usagi as a sort of genre in-joke.

I kind of failed in regards to emulating style, though. Stan Sakai draws animals characters that are clearly meant to represent people, while I pretty much abide by the standard funny-animals-wearing-clothes.
