This is incredibly rough and short, because I wanted to get this out quickly.

I noticed that a lot of times people treat lycanthropy like it's a superpower. A guy "powers up" to fight in beast form then "powers down" into his weak human form afterward.

It's like they think there's no fighting advantage to being smaller and less hairy/flammable.

Like dodging.

I mean, after all, the greatest advantage in a fight isn't from power or speed but unpredictability. Characters that can transform open up a whole range of options in terms of hand to hand combat techniques.

This was one of those ideas where I wanted to get it down, but there was really no way to do it except in animation form.

thats really cool, id love to see more of it!

though i think id prefer to be a 250 lb wolf thing in a fist fight than a 145lb dude. lol

Thanks! :D

My idea was that weight stays the same in both forms. The problem is that werewolf feet can't pivot well in close quarters (being designed for four-legged movement), also being bigger means being a bigger target.

Hmm.. I've never heard of that before. Is that from an rpg?

It's from an old RPG called Werewolf the Apocalypse. Kalindo was a form of martial arts that utilized the maneuverability of the human form, the speed of the wolf form, and the strength of the Crinos ("were") form.

I'll try to clean this up later at some point, then I can try slowing it down. Like all my animations, it needs more frames. :(

unpredictability.....yes....in a vido game, thats what i use. lol

ill do the same move a few times and then when you think im about to do it again and doge it, you jump up into my next attack XD (or duck into it, depends what im trying to get you to do XD)

i can see what my enemy will probably do befor they do it and i try to keep them guessing what ill do.

sometimes, theres no way to doge a strong attack, other than giveing a stong attack as well, and resulting in a double KO! XD ...or atleast keep the sides even if we live XD
